Pointless
No post last night. I was having too much fun using the picture function on Wii to make some very . . . fruity. . . pictures of Shaun. Too bad I have no idea how to save them because I know a few of you would enjoy them. Of course, I couldn’t actually post them until Shaun was back in Ireland because he would probably kill me. He was not as impressed with the pictures as Ulrica and I were.
That’s right! The Swe-Irish trio is back! They fly out Friday, so I’m babysitting Donncha today while they explore DC on their own. Let’s face it. DC is extremely child unfriendly for tourists. Donncha is such an easy going, sweet boy that I figured we’d easily survive the day. Most everyone is feeling a little better after a day of rest yesterday so I’m going to drag the boys to the gym while I BodyPump and take a shower. Whoo-hoo showers! Whoo-hoo BodyPump!
After looking at all the pictures we’ve taken, I’ve come to one conclusion: My haircut sucks even more than I dreamed. I hate hate hate it. I’ve also realized that I may be a fat belly cow, but my ass is pretty toned. Wide, yes, but very toned.
Now, if I could just get Erik to eat some real food we’d be on our way to a day of bliss. he hasn’t eaten much the last few days due to his illness. A hungry boy is a cranky boy. A cranky boy leads to a cranky mommy. Eat some food, boy!
Poor Donncha is a tired boy and desperately needs a nap. He’s sitting in his stroller, wide awake. I feel kind of cruel just leaving him there, but he’s quiet for the moment so maybe it’s ok. He is not anything like Erik when Erik was a toddler. He’s easy going and content. Uli and Shaun were saying he was cranky yesterday, which made me laugh. I’m sure he was being cranky for him. His cranky was Erik’s deliriously happy.
The whole point of this post was to tell Carrie that I posted a new recipe for her. I have no idea if you’ll like it, but we’ve been eating a lot of roasted veg w/pasta” lately.
And now the boys are free and under attack. Guess I’m done here!
