My sis-in-law gets her kids to eat fruit by sort of tricking them into thinking it's not fruit.
She just whizzes a bunch of dried fruit in her food processor until it's smooth and spreads it out in a big square on greaseproof paper (about 1/4 " thick) and puts it in the oven overnight on a really low heat (about 150º F I think). Then when it's done she chops it into different shapes with cookie cutters.
They end up being reasonably sweet from memory, so maybe he would eat those?

Liam is a very constipated boy. I'll tell you what they told me. First try Benefiber. If that doesn't work (and it did nothing for Liam), go to Miralax. I've talked to alot of Mom's who've used it, and it's non-addicting. It may be worth a try.
