Picture Post
We had a very nice, relaxing day today. I put in my hour at the gym, then came home and put on casual clothes. I haven’t been out of the house since. Instead, I sat at the sewing machine and did a Dear Jane block after weeks of forgetting all about it. Hard to write anything fun and exciting about that. How about a few pictures?
You all wanted pics of the turkey place mat, so here it is in all its preschool glory. Erik, the dear boy, put stickers over a couple of faces and they were very hard to get off.
It’s hard to brush your teeth when you’re an astronaut.
Erik picked these glasses out from a freebie booth at the preschool fair.
So much for loving my new dress. It looks awful in this picture. I hope it looks better in 3D, because this picture makes me want to puke and cry at the same time. I need a serious haircut. I won’t even go into the self-hating here. I am doing it plenty in my own head, don’t you worry.
Erik wishes he was a Guitar Hero.
Erik loves to help me bake. Is he wearing pants in any of the photos? He’s worse than I am with the no pants.

2. i LOVE that dress, carrie. it is definitely your color. you are really pretty. (AND I LOVE THE HAIR LONG) you probably don’t like the picture because you were surprised a little boy was climbing through it when the picture snapped. :)
