Queen of Rambles

You know I’ve been mentioning that things aren’t going well around here in regards to Mike’s job. It is stressing me out beyond belief and I’ve been coming up with cockamamie (how on earth do you spell that?) plans to make some money. Basically, Mike’s company has no money, which means they aren’t paying their employees. They keep saying they have a big infusion of cash coming, but it’s been six weeks and people have mortgages due and bills to pay and where is the money?

So tonight I notice that all my pot holders are ratty and gross and I’d really like to go out and buy some.

Me: *cry cry cry* I guess I shouldn’t buy new pot holders right now.
Mike: You could always sell your body for new pot holders.
Me: No one wants a big, fat prostitute.
Mike: They’d want you.

A few minutes later

Mike, thoughtfully: You’d be a wonderful prostitute.

Is it a compliment? Is he trying to send me a message? What? Should I start putting up some Craigslist ads? How do I find a sitter for this new career?
