I wouldn’t wish my old undies on anyone, though they are clean and non-holey. I am a strong believer in throwing out holey underwear.
I have a confession to make: I am a granny panties kind of gal. It’s not that I like granny panties, but that’s just what my mom always bought me. Since that’s all I knew, I just kept up with the granny panties and hated them, but every time I would go out on a limb and buy something new they would feel weird and look weird and not work.
Now that we live in the age of the low rise, granny panties are unacceptable. I am totally sick of having three inches of bright purple underwear sticking out of the top of my pants. I wear long shirts, but sometimes I have to do normal human functions like bending over or lifting my arms and the people behind me get a flash of panty.

Thanks to about a billion recommendations from the LJ fatshionista community, I hippity-hoppitied my fat bootie over to Lane Bryant and got some hipster panties.
I didn’t know there was such a thing as comfortable, cute, non-sticky-outie panties. Is this the way normal people live? I need to figure out how to be more normal, if it is, because I likey.
So, what am I to do with all the ugly granny panties? Maybe I could make a quilt. Wouldn’t that be something for the grandchildren? At least it would be bright and colorful.
After almost six years of daily blogging, I didn’t think there was much left to reveal. Now that I’m shedding the shame of granny panties, I guess I can tell you all about my former unsexy secret.

I would be completely mortified if Peanut did that. As it is, I don’t like it when she strikes up convos with people because you never know how they’re going to take it. Are they understanding, sympathetic people with kids or grandkids of their own? Or are they like the elderly lady I saw at the hospital who, after a little girl tripped on a poorly placed trash can, said, “Kids are so stupid.” Wish I’d known they were having a sale. Discovered this morning that one of my fave bras has a wire escapaing.

I recently discovered the shorts style panties. I thought they looked really uncomfortable, but discovered to my amazement that they are far more comfortable than the usual brief style I usually wear.
But here, wearing low-slung jeans and high panties so they show whenever you bend over is the in thing. You’re SUPPOSED to show off your panties, apparently. (I don’t show off mine, btw.) Is it only in Japan?

I have a confession also. I love big granny panties! I buy panties much bigger than I need just so they will sit real high on my waist. I do wear the low rider jeans and you guessed it, there is about 6 or 8 inches of panty sticking out. I am very comfortable that way. When I sit down or bend over you can see them but I don’t mind. I even sometimes tuck my shirts into them so my panties are showing. I try to buy pretty colors and patterns since they can be seen. My sister won’t even go out in public with me sometimes because she says my panties are showing too much. She can’t understand why I wear my panties so BIG!! Hey it is what I like. So I say girls if you like to wear your underpanties big, then just do it!

When did full cut briefs get the horrible name “granny panties”? I am a man who can respect a woman who wears the underwear she is comfortable in. Most guys these days will tell you that they want to see some skinny mini in her dental floss thong, but some are stating that because that is what is supposed to be accepted. My personal opinion is that a thong means you are either easy or trying too hard. I’d rather catch a glimpse of a respectable woman’s brief than some sluts thong. So, wear what you want to wear. Men do, so why can’t women?

Hello to all. i am a fourteen year old boy and I love to wear pink briefs to school. I like the looks I get from my peers when they see my pink and sometimes floral panty of the day hanging out of my pants. I make sure to wear my pants low enough so you can always see them.
