Margaret Cho

I know I’ve heard the name Magraret Cho before. I thought she was an author. I see her on Sesame Street occasionally, so while watching her sing a little song with Prairie Dawn (seriously, the most annoying Sesame Street creation EVER) I googled her. It’s totally wrong to be watching someone sing a kid’s song on Sesame Street while looking at THIS.

Oh, and so far so good on the tooth front today. Mike had to go in super early, so he’ll be home soon. If I have to take something strong he’ll be here. I hate taking drugs, but the whole side of my face was throbbing. I know why people in the dark ages only lived into their early 30s. They killed themselves because they were tired of all the dental pain. It’s so obvious now.

The babysitter called me back at 10 last night. What kind of person calls at 10 when they know you have a little kid? Apparently 19 year old babysitters. I did not get a good vibe, but what can go wrong in two hours? Her sign was really cute and professional, but her voice didn’t match that at all. I’m desperate so I’m just hoping she does better with Erik than she does with me. You don’t have to be a smart professional to get along with a 2 year old. Right?

Wow. Erik just said all his numbers when they came up on the screen BEFORE the voice over. Sesame Street may be television, but it’s good television.

I’m glad you’re not having the horrible tooth pain today.

And Sesame Street is an awesome show. I loved it when my kids watched it. If I could force them to watch it now, I would. But alas, they’ve reached ages where they think they’re too old to watch the Count count or the Cookie Monster eat letter shaped cookies, or dance with Elmo. ::sigh:: I miss Sesame Street.

Prairie Dawn is not the worst Sesame Street Character ever. That honor goes to Elmo, with a first-runner-up to Baby Bear.

I miss the old days of Super Grover, Kermit, and Miss Piggy.
