Nooooooooo!!!
Guess where we are. Go ahead! Guess!
Oregon.
Guess how long we’ll be here!
Till Saturday!
What a nightmare.
They kept cancelling our flight from San Fransico to DC and my mom is simply unable to take any more time off work to drive us over to Medford. After a whole lot of hassle, hours on hold, and arguing with an employee at the special help line I finally got through to the real reservation people and dealt with a very nice guy who was probably outsourced in India. He set up some flights for Saturday. Mike and I are not at all happy, but what can you do? At least we’ll be able to take my sister’s kids over to their afternoon babysitter and I’ll be able to do my freelance work. I simply MUST get some of that done this week or I am going to be screwed.
Guess I better go upstairs and see if Mike needs my help with Erik. The darling boy had a screaming fit in middle of the night, then suddenly got over his problem and was happy and playful. We don’t like screaming or happy and playful at 1 am. We only like sleepy.
And what, may I ask, is the point of this stupid Deal or No Deal show?

Oh no! I’m sorry ya’ll are stuck there for the rest of the week. I hope you’re able to get some of your work done and you aren’t driven crazy by the extra days there.

That’s no fun that you’re stuck. Hopefully you’ll be able to get some of your work done though.
The point of Deal or No Deal is to watch idiots make fools out of themselves because of greed.

I actually enjoyed Deal or No Deal when it came out. Now it’s getting overplayed like Millionaire did. We usually end up dvr-ing it to see what new Hero will be revealed in the commercials.
Yeah, they were totally wrong about the ice missing us. I haven’t checked the weather closer to DC but here we have snow, layer of ice, then more snow. It’s quite fun. You’re safer where you are.
Enjoy the rest of your week.

One of my manufacturing suppliers in PA is practically shut down due to the weather. I’m just glad we’re south of it this time.
Okay – I can admit I enjoy watching Howie get all uncomfortable when the contestants get too close. He’s a germophome. And I love Heroes.

I’m sorry you’re stuck in oregon, but I was really worried you’d get stuck at some airport halfway home, and that would be NO FUN with Mr. E. If it gets too bad, come on down to San Francisco and let us play with the boy!

I don’t like Deal or No Deal, but do check out 1 vs. 100!
