Two days in a row!
Two posts in a row? What’s wrong with this picture!
I’m at my mom’s work and my eyes are about to fall out of my head. Her boss is a really nice guy and has a stray kitten in the bathroom. I’m surprised its dander can come all the way in here.
Erik got his first taste of dog food today. It’s the crunchy kind, at least. My dad watches him while I shower, so I try to do it quickly since his idea of ok behavior and my idea of ok behavior varies greatly. He didn’t see anything wrong with a little dog food in a baby’s belly.
To answer the questions from yesterday:
Roseola is a baby virus that kids get. The kid gets a fever and then a couple of days later breaks out in little red dots. It’s not that bad, but annoying when the baby is cranky.
My sister’s man is now her fiance even though he is married to someone else. He just started his own roofing business and is doing really well. For the first time ever they have money and a decent place to live and seem to be doing ok. They go to church and aren’t drinking or drugging. He’s been very pleasant. That doesn’t mean I like him, but at least I can give him credit for trying. He has two teenage sons who live with them and one of them has a knocked up friend (not girlfriend, they were just bored *rolls eyes*). Now my sister is going around telling everyone she is going to be a grandma. Sheesh.
The Mary Kay thing is not going well at all. Everyone already has a Mary Kay consultant so I have two boxes of stock and no one to sell it to. I guess I’ll have to ship it back to Maryland. What was I thinking? Why did I sign up to do this?
Guess I better go. MisterE needs a nap.
Don’t know when I’ll be able to update again. Hope you guys are all having a fun summer and staying cool! The weather here is great and I am certainly enjoying a break from the humidity and heat of the East Coast.

I believe dog food is one of the things that would fit the bill in the “you are on a desert island and can only have one food” scenario. I’d prefer Powerbars, myself, but I don’t think dog food will do any harm. Sorry about the Mary Kay.

How long are you with the family? I have to say I’m impressed. Four hours is about enough with mine.
The good thing about dog/cat food is that really, it won’t hurt your baby. Let’s just say “I know”. ;)
