Whoo-hooo!
Sunday is weigh in day. I was scared and ready to get mad and depressed, but I’m down 2.5 pounds! That’s a good start for the diet. I did an unofficial weigh-in last night and was down 3 pounds, but it was at a different time of day so didn’t really count. I know you can yo-yo as much as 5 pounds in a single day.
Anyway, I’m happy to be back on the right track. I have eaten more servings of fruits and vegetables this week than I’ve eaten in any single year of my life. I have discovered that I really like grilling or baking zucchini and yellow squash.
This week my morning cereal is the only processed food I’ve consumed. Once I’m done with my supply of it, I’ll switch over to a more protein rich diet. I’ve noticed that eating more protein instead of carbs really does stave off the hunger a lot longer.
So there you go. The magic formula is back. Eat less, lose more. Amazing how that works.
And now I’m off for a morning run on the ol’ elliptical. Will it be Babylon 5 or Alias? I’m thinking Alias. I need to burn off a lot of energy.

Hi, just got your comment about BE. Yes, unfortunately because of the way my blog is set up the frames of BE make it go black if you scroll down before the page is finished loading. I don’t think they can fix that. But you can follow my url link here.
