It just gets better and better
The laptop saga continues. Now it won’t power up if it is plugged into the AC adapter. It will go on for a few seconds and then blink off. If you power up with the battery only it is fine, but the second you plug in the AC adapter it goes off. Then people wonder why I have such violent tendencies brewing under the surface.
At least work was ok today. I saw parts of Beauty and the Beast six times, so it got a little old by the end of it. The teacher obviously ruled with an iron fist. The rules on the board stated that the students were to be silent during the class period. I don’t know how that is possible to maintain, but apparently she pulls it off. That’s is so not my style. Of course, I had to have a couple of jack asses. No day would be complete without them, but I handled it well and it didn’t escalate.
Now I have four days of high school science, unless they get cancelled at the last minute.
Other than that nothing is happening. Well, my husband is swearing like a sailor in the kitchen and scaring me, but what’s new? He’s making Swedish meatballs for a big party at work tomorrow. He always curses when he makes Swedish meatballs. Maybe that’s why he doesn’t make them all that often. He’s been working on the project for hours and the house is getting way too hot. I think I may have to go jump off the balcony. That’s the kind of mood I’m in.

Your husband swears like a sailor too? And here I had such lovely thoughts of Mike. I still like him but I feel a bit better about my cussing-and-swearing-a-blue-streak Toby.
