Fugly
I’m having a fugly day. My hair is so ugly that I might as well just shave my head and call it good. Or wear a paper bag over my head. Luckily, I got a recommendation for a better place. Too bad it is really too short to do anything with this weekend. Good thing it grows fast.
In addition to the extremely Man From the Eighties look, I’ve got Teenage Skin from the Eighties and Fat from someone Eighty Pounds Overweight. OK, so I’m not actually 80 pounds overweight. I just liked the consistency. Consistency is important.
You’re just waiting for a new quilt block aren’t you? I actually like BLOCK 20 quite a bit. Only 10 to go!
I think I’ve decided to ditch the original plan of following the pattern. I like them in circles a lot better, so have been playing around on my design board. Here’s a sneak peek of my very first rough layout. Consider it a preview of the pictures you guys requested. I will post the rest this weekend, since it does take a little time to get them all resized and everything.
By the way, did I ever mention that our team won second place in the zoo trivia scavenger hunt? I knew we did really well! Of course, it was all my doing. Ha! Seriously, though, my two zoo visits this summer certainly helped since I like to read all the signage and have a very good memory. I’m happy.
Now it’s time for bed. I’ve got an early day of Physical Education tomorrow. I’m thinking crunches. Lots and lots of crunches. That’d be good for me.
And in the immortal (para-phrased) words of our dear president, don’t forget Poland!
Why am I even watching these debates? Everything out of both their mouths are total lies. I hate politcs.

I like your quilt SO much better. Both the pattern and your color choices. It’s going to be so beautiful!

Thanks for the preview shot! That’s gonna be one gorgeous quilt. I’m totally jealous.
I felt uberfugly this morning. After my shower I’ve downgraded myself to fat and homely but clean.
