Queen of Rambles

Another weekend gone, with not a whole lot to show for it. We went to see Twisted today, but that’s about the extent of the excitement in these parts. I was pleased to see Ashley Judd has the same hair style I have. I can quit complaining about being manly and tell everyone I’m Ashley Judd’s doppelganger. Just have to lose a couple of hundred pounds and we’ll be exact copies.

I think my nephew is going to be a porn star, judging from the size of his ding-dong. My sister sent a few pictures from the ultrasound and his little thing is bigger than his feet! Is that normal?

I’m already sick of my dear sister and I haven’t even seen her since I’ve been back in the country. She calls all the time, giving orders about what we need to do for her. “Pack my stuff! Sort my things! Do my taxes! Do this, do that!” I’ll do her taxes for her, but that’s about it. If you leave town in a stolen car with only a grocery bag full of clothing you can’t expect everyone else to go through and make sure you get the rest of your stuff. You especially can’t expect the person you’ve robbed blind for years to take care of your business. I don’t know why my family seems to think I want to do all their dirty work for them. We need to move far, far away and soon.

I’ve decided that I absolutely will not eat any sugar this week. I’ve fallen off the wagon in a big way since moving back. When you work in a place where candy, cupcakes, donuts, and sweet rolls are the most commonly accepted currency it’s very easy to blow your diet to smithereens. I’ve had self-control before. I must have self-control again. I need to post some sort of inspiring sign over my desk to remind me to be good. I just don’t know what would inspire me.
