A friend of mine once said she never wanted to work with a bunch of women for all the reasons you describe, back biting, etc....and I thought my friend was being silly but now I"m not so sure. Why can't they just get along? Is it all about people trying to gain power in whatever way they can, even in the most petty ways imaginable? Teachers and teachers' aids are so underappreciated AND underpaid. I try to tell my daughter's teachers on a regular basis how much I appreciate them.
