Yippeee!

Looks like things are working around here again. I was getting extremely agitated with the brokenness level of my poor site. In fact, I’ll copy and paste the message I posted in LJ just so you can see how agitated I was. Now I hope that the tech support people aren’t going to think I’m stupid. Or maybe they are just so good that they’ve fixed it already even though I sent in my complaint less than a half hour ago. I love my hosts! If you are in Sweden and need a host I highly, highly recommend datakultur.com. Before I found them I had all sorts of problems with FFF all the time. I’ve not had a single problem since using datakultur. And the very few times I’ve needed teach support they’ve been very prompt and very friendly and very willing to correspond in English.

And on to my previous whining post:

There is something bad going on with my queenoframbles site. First I wasn’t getting any comments (though I just thought people didn’t have anything to say–now I see they were broken). Then I couldn’t post a post. Now I can’t access the site at all or access the ftp stuff. ARGHHHH!!! I guess I have to bite the bullet and e-mail the server guys. I just don’t know exactly what to say. I hate trying to explain a problem when I don’t know the right words for it. I’m not computer stupid, exactly, but I’m certainly no expert either. I guess I’m just glad it’s actually a problem on the server side so maybe I won’t have to do anything to solve it. When I could still acess the site I looked up the error I was getting in the MT support manual and it was like reading something in another language. I knew all the words but I didn’t know what half of them meant and I was getting very upset and basically throwing a fit. I think I’ve regressed. I grabbed a coaster (we have a nice set of glass ones and a cheap set of cardboard type ones and this was a cardboard one) a threw it as hard as I could toward the kitchen. I really didn’t mean to damage anything but it bounced off the side of the wall and hit one of our pretty candle things that Mike’s dad gave us. Luckly it didn’t break. The candle fell out but the glass holder thing didn’t fall off the wall. Mike yelled at me. I guess I don’t blame him.

Anyway, I’m really mad and guess I should send an e-mail to the tech support people. Bah. At least they are really nice. I’ve only contacted them a couple of times and both times they have been prompt and friendly. Who’d have thunk it of a Swedish company?
